In what ways does hard work make you feel fulfilled?

Hard work is one of those things that seems harder for some than others. Talent alone cannot do anything unless there is hard work behind it.

For me, hard work makes me feel fulfilled in several ways. At work, if the gardens I look after look better over time due to the work I do, then I’m happy and fulfilled.

In my studies, if my grades are good, the same-all that hard studying after a hard day at work and at the weekend makes it worthwhile. It will hopefully help me in my horticultural work when I’m done this time next year.

At home, when I get some home grown food like tomatoes, that makes me really fulfilled as there is nothing quite like home grown food! This isn’t always that easy-time, energy and enthusiasm can be thin on the ground until the harvest comes in and then you remember why!
