Good socks are worth every penny!

What’s the oldest things you’re wearing today?

My socks are the oldest thing I am wearing today, being about two years old. These socks are Bridgedale socks that are made for hiking. They are on the more expensive side for socks, but I have one pair that have lasted about 14 years.

As I am on my feet all day wearing heavy, steel toe-capped boots, cheap socks can wear out quickly, which is why I choose Bridgedale socks for work and why they are the oldest clothing I am wearing. The pair I am wearing today sell for around $45 (Australian dollars) online, but considering I have had no holes and little wear in them in over two years, I think that is great value.
