As it is the Easter weekend this weekend, I will have two extra days worth of time at hand-some of this will be spent sorting out my sorry excuse for a patio garden.
It needs a good tidy up, including sweeping, and many plants are now dying off or dead so need removing, which are the main jobs. I then need to start sowing some of the seeds that I have in planned to sow in autumn. This is one of the fun bits as there is the potential of tasty food and lovely smelling flowers in my future. I also find it very therapeutic. Sowing a seed is a simple task really, but it is such a very calming one! The other really fun bits for me are smelling the flowers, eating the fruit and veg and seeing all these grow, along with any wildlife interacting with my plants!
Where I get chance I’m also going to do some reading and research for some blog posts that I would like to write. Weirdly, I also find this quite relaxing-probably because I can sit down while doing it, rather than running around like a headless chicken!
How much I get done be in reality will be a different matter as my Dad is coming over for a visit from Saturday evening, along with my brother. As I haven’t seen them for ages, it promises to be really busy and full on, especially as my Dad is naturally rather loud by nature!
Anyway, I’ll keep you updated on progress! Bye for now.
