Describe the most ambitious DIY project you’ve ever taken on.
While the term DIY does really apply to doing things around the house like putting up shelves or painting, etc, that is not where I would excel in any way.
What I do like to spend my time doing is sewing. I aim, over time, to make all my own clothes. This is my own form of DIY that I really enjoy. In sewing my own clothes, I can choose the style of dress or trousers that I want to make, and the fabric to make the item of clothing and then make sure each item of clothing fits me really well. I like making clothes with a vibrant pattern on-I may as well make clothes that I love in the process!

One of my daughters enjoys sewing and has made some excellent shirts for herself and her sister. Unfortunately, the price of fabric is pretty high. Especially since she prefers to use fabric like linen.
It’s the same here in Australia. I only make clothes as I need them and then wear each item until I can’t anymore as I the waste!
