Cheering myself with flowers

As this first week of summer is turning out to be hot and very busy, I thought I’d share some of the flowers I have seen so far. I know they put a smile on my face because of the colour, sometimes the fragrance and also when I see bees, butterflies or other wildlife enjoying them too.

Hibiscus flowers always make me smile. They are so big and showy, along with having so many different, often bright, colours.

I came across this odd mushroom today. While I do know it isn’t a flower, I thought it was rather interesting.

While I am not a major fan of white things in general, but this rose below is quite pretty.

Again, here are some roses. I do think that the yellow-orange ones are my favourite, but I do like them all.

Again, just because I think they look awesome, here is a picture of some Corymbia flowers.
