I have to admit that I’m a bit of a plant nerd in that I’ll take photos of plants that take my interest. It doesn’t matter where it is really, or what the plant is-if it looks interesting, I’ll take a photo and work out what it is if I don’t know.
The first one is a flower that’s appeared on my cucumber plant. Naturally, I’m weirdly excited about that just because it is my first cucumber flower!

Next is the bark of Araucaria cuninghamii, or the Hop Pine, a native tree to Australia that’s related to the Monkey Puzzle Tree. I find the bark really interesting and unusual compared to most bark I see, hence why I’ve included it.

I came across these bugs on a lemon tree earlier. They are bronze orange bugs, which are sap-sucking insects that hang out on citrus trees and are a bit of a pest. They are still interesting to look at-DON’T get too close as they can squirt out this vile liquid that can cause some irritation.

We are now into agapanthus season. While flowering, they are really pretty, but are otherwise a rather boring plant.
