This week in gardening

It’s been another warm to hot week here this week and busy with it. At home, I have done plenty of watering and I have had the help of my delightfully fluffy gardening assistant Cuddles. By helping, I mean having a food sniff around and getting in the way!

Some more chilli and tomato seeds have germinated over this week, which has my husband excited. The chilli seeds he came home with are a mix of different heat levels and he is looking forward to trying them, along with pickling them if we get a bumper crop!

I have some new flowers out too. My cosmos are now flowering which is awesome. Unfortunately, I currently don’t have a photo to show you. My African violet is flowering again and looking great. They are such pretty flowers.

I spotted some Eucalyptus flowers within reach of a camera yesterday, as shown below. I think they are really pretty.

Finally, I thought I’d share these pretty honeysuckle flowers, just because I can.
