As today has been a really warm day for the end of winter (reaching about 25 degrees Celsius this afternoon), I went out and watered my plants once I got in from work.
All my plants are still growing well and seem to be loving the sunshine and warmer weather that we are getting. My two broad bean varieties are now fully flowering, both with good looking flowers.

I am also really pleased to say that many of my onion seeds have now germinated. I was worried over the last weekend that I wouldn’t get any germinating at all, but at least seven seedlings have now appeared!

My broccoli and more pea and broad bean seedlings are growing nicely. On the subject of peas, I picked off the first two pea pods from my first pea plants. As is the right of anyone who grows any of their own food, I tried one pod of peas and they were super tasty-my husband had the other pod and thankfully agreed! I was too excited to take a photo before hand.
The flowers on my Gasteria obliqua are now starting to open up a little bit more. When they are fully open, they should look really good.

Finally, as I have watered my plants myself, it has started to rain a little, along with a small thunder storm. I don’t think we are due to get much rain tonight, but any water we get from rain at the moment is good!
