Saturday’s gardening

On another warm, sunny Saturday morning I have been out early to get all my gardening jobs done before I get on with the rest ofmy unusually busy day.

All my plants got a good watering as it has been, and will be warm. Whilst watering, I have had a good look at all of them to check for any issues before they become major. I’m pleased to say the at I didn’t find any!

My mandarin tree is starting to get growing really well now, there is so much new growth on there.

Both varieties of broad beans are now flowering to various degrees, which I’m all excited about.

Also starting to do well is my Hardenbergia violacea, which now has new growth on it.

From the seed that were sown two weeks ago, everything has germinated apart from the onions. I am hoping that they will still germinate over the next few days, but if they don’t I will try again.

This final photo is of a tree nest to where my son was playing football this morning. I love seeing trees having the space to grow into the natural form. There are few plants that look as good, which is why I’m including a photo.
