The tiniest potatoes ever

With a seed order I got back in early spring, I got some free seed potatoes. These were duly planted out and yesterday was harvest day.

To say the potatoes are small is an understatement for sure! We only found these few on looking, so not many at all. There will be more to be found in my potato bags, which I’ll do over the next couple of days.

Small in size and number

These potatoes went into a Penang curry. The potatoes themselves were tasty enough, even if small.

The question is was it worth it? Not really, considering how many potatoes there are here, and their tiny size. I was happy to give growing potatoes a go though, and may give a different variety ago next time I try.
