As I have been doing some overtime this weekend, along with my studies restarting after a break after the end of the academic year, I haven’t had much chance to do anything in my own little gardening patch.
I have done some watering of the plants that have needed it and sown some more capsicum and tomato seeds. All else is fine to be left alone for now. Of my indoor plants, my orchid is still flowering and my African violet has its second flush of purple flowers.
While out and about, I cane across a native Australian tree that is flowering. It’s called Callicom serratifolia. It isn’t normally one of those plants that I see in cultivation around where I work so it may have self-seeded into its current position. It never gets very large, but it has pretty white flowers and I like the look of its leaves. I’ll do a profile on it once I get chance.

I also found these mushrooms in the grass this week. I always think mushrooms are fascinating things to look, especially when no two species look the same.
